The association was incorporated in 2007 and will help to educate the public, business, health practitioners and government about all aspects of Building Biology. The association will also serve as a means to locate qualified Building Biologists who will be able to provide Building Biology services.

The Australasian Society of Building Biologists offers three levels of membership - practitioner, student and associate.
